Which plan should I go for?

If you are an individual looking to manage your personal docs and contracts, you can start with Personal plan. It is free for life.

If you are a freelancer or power user who needs higher limits and better controls, you can go for Pro plan. With it, you can create unlimited documents / contracts, send unlimited eSign requests and collaborate with others.

If you are representing a business and need an end-to-end solution for your team members or entire company as well for documents / contracts, Team plan is for you. With Team plan, you can add your team members free as long as they remain collaborators.

If you are representing a large business and need advance controls, higher security, advance compliances, SLAs or need priority support in addition to team plan, Enterprise plan is for you. Like with Team plan, you can add your team members free as long as they remain collaborators.

Do I need to pay for all users and collaborators?

Unlike other tools, you do not pay for all users and collaborators in your team. See below:

Creators are paid users. Creators can create a doc/contract/template, collaborate on it, approve, and eSign.

Internal Collaborators are forever free. You can add as many users from your team and organization without having to pay for them. Internal Collaborators can review, edit, and collaborate on a doc/contract/template.

External Collaborators are also forever free. You can add as many External Collaborators on your documents and send eSign requests without having to pay for them. External Collaborators can review, edit, and collaborate on a doc/contract/template.

Due to this innovative and unique pricing model, your effective per user cost comes down drastically and organization-wide adoption of DocuX becomes possible without any increase in cost.

Is there any long-term commitment required?

No commitment or payment is required for Personal plan. Its free for life.

Pro, Team and Enterprise are annual subscription plans with an option to pay monthly or annually. You can save upto 53% in subscription cost if you choose to pay annually.

For your convenience, we allow terminatation of subscription by you at anytime upon 30 day's notice by logging into your DocuX account. No questions asked.

Do you offer free trial on all plans?

Yes, we offer 14 day free trial on all our paid plans. You do not need to provide credit card information or make any commitment during trial period. You can choose to start your subscription at any time during the trial period and we will not ask for any payment details before start of your subscription.

Do I need to provide credit card information to start a free trial?

No credit card or other payment details are required at the time of the start of the trial. You will be required to provide payment details only when you purchase the subscription.

What happens after my free trial expires?

You can purchase subscription to our Team or Enterprise plan before the free trial expires. We will remind you before the expiry of trial period. In case you do not make any purchase, your account and data will be deleted upon expiry of free trial. In case of Pro plan trial, your plan will be converted to Personal plan upon expiry of free trial unless you start subscription.

If I subscribe to Personal (free) plan, would you bug me for upgrade?

We will not bug you every-now-and-then for upgrade or bombard you with marketing emails. We may send you some onboarding or 'getting to know your DocuX' emails in the beginning and they will not be frequent and not endless and certainly not for upgrade. We will remind you to upgrade only when you wish to use a feature on the platform that is not available in your plan. For all the other time, you will have non-intrusive use of the DocuX platform. We firmly believe that our users should be allowed to buy DocuX subscription rather than we sell it to them. We are sure you will buy the subscription when you are ready.

Is my and my company's data secure?

Absolutely. All your data and documents/contracts on DocuX are stored on secure Azure cloud. They are encrypted at rest and while in transit. It means even DocuX does not have access to your documents/contracts data. For more information please visit Trust and Security.

Can I change my plan later on?

Yes. However, due to platform architecture, there are a few restrictions. You cannot downgrade team plans (Team or Enterprise) to individual plans (Personal or Pro).

You can change your plan anytime as follows:
Personal: Upgrade to Pro, Team or Enterprise
Pro: Upgrade to Team or Enterprise or downgrade to Personal
Team: Upgrade to Enterprise
Enterprise: Downgrade to Team

How will I be charged for adding my team members?

There is no additional payment required for adding your team members with collaborator rights. Only when you add your team members with Creator or higher rights, additional payment is required.

What if I decide to cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at anytime from DocuX Settings panel. We will not renew your subscription term once you cancel. Your account will remain valid and live till your current subscription term expires. Your data will be deleted automatically upon expiry of the subscription term. In some cases, you may be eligible for refund of the payments already made. Please see below for refund.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! If you choose to pre-pay annually for subscription, you can save upto 53% compared to monthly payments. Please review the pricing above.

What are the accepted payment methods, are they secure?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express debit and credit cards. For large deals in Enterprise plan, we can issue invoices and accept POs and direct bank transfers. We do not accept physical checks or payments via PayPal.

All payments are securely processed over HTTPS and your card information never touches our servers. All payment processing is done by a third party credit card processor.

What happens if my payment fails- like if my credit card expires?

You will be notified after each failed payment. Payments may be retried up to 4 times with a notification to you. After this, if the payment did not succeed, your account may be suspended. We expect you to ensure that your credit card details are current.

Where can I find my invoice and payment receipts?

You have to be the Admin or the owner of your account to view invoice and payment details. Invoices are sent via email with every successful payment. You can also see all historical invoices and related payment receipts under the PLANS & INVOICING section in the Settings panel on DocuX Workspace.

How do refunds work?

We offer refunds in certain situations. You will need to contact us if you are eligible.

When do we offer refunds?
If you purchased a subscription with annual upfront payment but want to cancel the same, please contact us within the first fourteen (14) days of subscription. We will offer you full refund if you have not started using DocuX.
If you forgot to cancel your subscription before next monthly payment and you have not used DocuX since. Please contact us within seven (7) days of such monthly renewal.

When refunds are not granted?
If you do not write to us within the specified time or if our records indicate you have started using or used DocuX during the period for which you are requesting the refund.

Refund, if any granted, shall be net off any banking and remittance charges.
