Top reasons AdobeSign usersΒ
look for alternatives

#1

Complex, legacy UI/UX, not so easy integrations

#2

Only an eSign tool- does not offer full docs/contract lifecycle

#3

Very costly- predatory upgrade nudges, hidden costs

Have I mentioned how much I hate Adobe? Sign a document, save it, then remember you have to change something. Nope. That's $22.99 a month.

Logging in was a nightmare, unless you saved the URL to your desktop - it seems like Adobe intentionally hides this product, and bait-and-switches to get you to buy more expensive products when you search for it. Customer service is close to useless. You keep getting pushed to other departments who don't deal with Adobe Sign, and usually don't even know it exists.

The search is terrible! It's impossible to find anything and the software is slow. The UI could also use some work as things are not intuitive. The basic reporting is nice but its not very customizable. Overall it feels outdated and clunky.

Adobe the new patch for Adobe Sign sucks. The process of sending out documents to be signed now takes way longer. Is there a way to revert to the old version?

The Adobe Sign trial was a nightmare, and the customer service has been even worse. I needed to get my documents signed by over 20 people and also witness signed too. The witness signature process was confusing at best. I then had an issue whereby I couldn't cancel an agreement that had been sent, and it took nearly an hour on customer support for the agent to suggest using Chrome instead of Safari, and it then worked. Then, I had an issue whereby one of the signers signed incorrectly on the wrong line. I spent two and a half hours on customer support, being passed from agent to agent who had no idea what they were doing, one agent at one point took control of my screen and just kept randomly moving the mouse around the screen but not doing anything, before then passing me on to someone else who told me I didn't have an Enterprise trial - even though I do! It then turned out that this agent actually worked for Adobe Acrobat and not Adobe Sign, and so had no idea again. Finally I spoke to an agent who told me that once someone has signed a document, it can't be removed or changed - this is ridiculous, as people make mistakes and the fact that you can't correct that is crazy! Finally, I had to send several separate documents to different signers and try to combine the PDFs afterwards, which again proved to be a problem because the PDFs were locked after exporting them from Adobe Sign. I should have just got people to sign hard copies from the start!

I?m disappointed with the quality of the @Adobe Sign app on iOS. It's slow, doesn't sync documents reliably, provides incorrect status, and doesn't follow platform design conventions. I never imagined that Adobe would release a worst app than DocuSign!

Doesn't work. Terrible customer service. Why do they have a product that isn't even on line? I've wasted an entire afternoon trying to get an answer from them. The only reply on their chatbot is that I need to be transferred to a different group. Are you kidding me? It's been 4 hours since I started trying to send a a contract for signature.

It was clunky and hard to use. Took too much time to send something for signature.

Setting up an electronic signature with Adobe Sign is a little complicated for clients who are not super tech savvy. Adobe also doesn't offer a way to automatically notify the sender once the signature has been collected, which adds the extra step of having to save the new, signed document AND send it back the requestor. Overall, it's a pretty manual process for collecting signatures but will get the job done if your budget doesn't allow for a paid service.

Why choose DocuX
over AdobeSign

You need eSign++ to get work done

eSign is just a small part of your docs/contract lifecycle. You need all-in-one platform including eSign to get work done. AdobeSign does not offer that.

Better, robust and intuitive product

No more glitches, broken workflows or starting all over again. We have worked very hard to make DocuX robust and easy and intuitive at the same time.

Fair and simple pricing- not predatory

AdobeSign plans + add-ons are prohibitively expensive for eSign. DocuX plans are fair, transparent and truly unlimited. eSign on DocuX is completely free.

Ditch the back-and-forth

Move all collaboration and reviews out of mailbox and scattered tools onto the doc. With DocuX, 100% of the internal and external collaboration happens on-the-doc.

Get single source of truth

Say goodbye to documents scattered across devices, tools, and users. All your docs/contracts are in one place and, every DocuX doc/contract is your reliable, single source of truth.

Enhances your productivity

Get an end-to-end solution that automates all the noise that passes for work. Docs are segregated, sorted, and controlled for you. No more trade offs.
